Automotive artist and designer Joe Iacono is one of the most prolific producers of automotive project/concept renderings in the business. When top car builders have ideas in mind, they tell Iacono about them, and he provides a bold glimpse of how these ideas will look on a completed car. He designed and sketched tons of traditional hot rods, but recently got the notion to remind people that sometimes Big is Small. Iacono turned his attention to a small car with big performance. The Mini Copper S. His idea was to build a signature series car that he could offer in limited series production to those who wanted one. Having designed his improved Mini, Iacono needed to partner with someone how could actually produce the vehicles, so he paired with Torrance California’s Autocraft for the build. The Car you see is actually serial number 01, and it makes use of the top of the line Cooper Works package, with Cosworth performance.
